Artichokes

Does anyone feed their chickens artichokes? or a better question: CAN you feed artichokes?

I'm not even sure if people should eat artichokes. I touched one once and decided not to risk it.

Just kidding (kind of).

I can't see why chicken couldn't eat them. Hopefully someone a bit more useful than I am will come along soon.

I'm pretty sure I shouldn't feed them the actual "choke". There's a reason it's called that, but what about the leaves?
Taz, what part of Tampa area are you. I moved to Galveston from Weeki Wachee three years ago. Used to live in Clearwater too.

Haha I agree that we shouldn't eat them.. if its "not good enough" for me, my chickens wont have it either.

Never had one in the house. But they do love corn and corn cobs that I have eaten.
Even corn shucks....
