Someone just told me that the Ranch 99 Asian market sells quail eggs. They are not marked as fertile but people have hatched them.
Has anyone ever tried to incubate store bought eggs?

You're welcome to try! Plenty of people have succeeded. What I want to warn you about is that your unviable + deformity rates are going to much higher with eggs that have been refrigerated than eggs that haven't. If your goal is to get lots of healthy quailies I would recommend buying hatching eggs. :)

Great advise - viability & deformity & hatch result will be much lower on eggs that have been refrigerated and in some cases the eggs have been washed for human consumption sales.
