Has anyone ever eaten steamed asparagus dunked in runny eggs? Yum-oh!
No, I haven't. What I have eaten is an omelette made with left over asparagus and fritatas with leftovers in them as well as stratas. Yummy!
Asparagus is one of my favorites! When I snap off the tips when cleaning I save them and add them to my peices and parts for stock making. NOTHING adds to chicken stock like asparagus.
I have my order in for asparagus. This is the year I put in a bed of 2 yr old crowns. We eat alot of it.
I love asparagus any old way except for roasting which I think tends to make it taste bitter. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?
