Astralorp hen pecking same age sister

    The bully hen has been laying for 1 week, the other has not started. Have 1 same age Barred Rock who is laying and 1 Americauna who is one week younger & not laying. They have eglu, run and larger range. Neck feathers getting sparse on the picked on one. Bully has started pulling feathers out of Barred Rock also.[​IMG]

    I'd give some catfood for extra protein and crickets or mealworms or hang a head of cabbage to keep them occupied.

    Thanks. They have been getting live grasshoppers from me and those they catch when ranging but I will suppliment with catfood and hanging distraction.
