At what age do roosters start to croe

It varies from as young as five days (wow was THAT cute) to as long as six months. It is really an individual thing. Most of mine crowed at 16-17 weeks because I lived in an area where roos aren't allowed so they never heard any in the neighborhood. Now I've moved to some acreage and have multiple roos, plus there are roos on neighboring properties. I've noticed my roos are crowing much younger now that they hear others in the vicinity doing it. A new one started this morning and he's about 9 weeks old.
