    I see some folks saying they eat pullet eggs and also hen eggs. At what age/point in development is a pullet a hen?

    pullet = subadult female
    hen = adult female

    breakpoint / criterion is POL = point of lay = time or age when first egg layed.

    Hen after laying first egg.
