Hello, I'm still looking into poultry Diseases to learn about them, & was wondering if anyone had the answer.

Only thing I can find, is it can survive 65 Weeks(1yr) in ambient temperatures.

Thanks in advance.

I've not found much on timelines. 65 weeks at ambient temps, but MAYBE less in freezing temps.
Not sure how long it can actually live in soil, I'm assuming that 65 weeks is dust/dander/feathers.
That would be if a poultry house is cleaned out and let sit for 65 weeks and no other fowl is even close by where dust/dander/etc., can be blown/shed. Some info I've seen says that the virus can travel on wind for up to 3 miles but I have no idea if that's an accurate statement or not.

If you find more info about it, then please post it, it would be good to know.

65 weeks is more than a year:)

Still an interesting subject.

I may look more into it more later.

65 weeks is 1.167 years. So 1 year, & 5.49 months.
