He is an 8 month old pure bred Blue Splash Ameracauna Rooster who used to go by just Poppy until we realized she was a he. I so wish that I could keep him, but we are in the city limits (illegal), and I imagine our neighbors are starting to reach their own limits.
He is FREE to a home/farm in the Atlanta Area. Will deliver, but would prefer pick up as I have 2 young kids.
Ameracuanas lay sky blue eggs, and if you need a Roo for breeding, crosses between them and other breeds can lead to green, pink, or blue eggs. He is a very CALM rooster who protects his ladies. He is gentle with them. He is loud but mostly only crows in the morning.
He has NEVER shown aggression to anyone (this includes myself, husband, our dog, or our 2 1/2 year old.)
I am really hoping someone in the area is looking for a Rooster to protect their flock or this breed of Rooster for breeding. I would love to rehome him by this weekend.
