Bought 4 so called Easter Eggers from Atwood’s. They have been laying for about 2 months. Getting green eggs from them. Legs are green. One has a bit of a crest on her head. The other just cinnamon colored, I guess.
I know they should be hybrids. But anyone familiar with this look or breed from one of the parents?

Thanks for any input in advance.

They are beautiful!! I'd love to see pics of their eggs too, if you'd like to post them. I have olive Eggers too, but mine look slightly different than yours. Mine are Welsumer and Crested cream legbar. I wonder if they might have used Marans in your mix. Your first 2 pics look very similar to my Black tail Marans. I know Marans are used sometimes for this hybrid.

Marans should have pinkish white legs. If so, Marans should carry two copies of the white skin gene (WW). If these birds are the result of a Cream Legbar and Maran cross, they would have white skin, beaks and legs because two copies of the white skin gene is dominant over two copies of the yellow skin gene (YY). If these birds are a first generation cross, I doubt there is any Maran in them.

I have 2 that resemble brown leghorns with the cones and all. I need to figure out wich eggs are coming from wich chicken for sure. I’ll try and do some of that soon. I’m new on here and my tech skills are sub par🤣

We have 8.
2 white leghorns.
2 Rhode Island reds (I think)
4 supposed Easter eggers

We have only gotten 8 eggs one day so far. 5-7 eggs daily. The top 2 in the pic always have pinkish coloring and spotted. They change if you clean them or put them in the fridge.
