I will accept Paypal for payment, which is due the day auction closes. Once I close the auction, I'll PM the winner my Paypal info. Contact me prior to bidding if you want to make other arrangements.

Shipping is $15 I will ship Priority. I individually wrap my eggs in bubble wrap and do my best to make sure your eggs will make it as safely as possible. But once the eggs leave my hands I have no control over how the USPS handles your eggs. I also have no control over the success of your hatch.

I have hatched out a chick just recently, so I know my Rooster is doing his job. LOL

here's what's in my pen....

Calico Patridge Rooster:

450

I have been patiently waiting for my Black silkie from this group to hatch out 5 Eggs that I had given her to give you an idea of what you might exspect if you were to get some eggs from this auction. Tonight 5/10/2012 Two of the babies hatched out, Some of the pictures maybe blurr because they were shaken and I wanted to get them back to her as quickly as possible. They were still wet... When they fluff up and she has completed all the hatchings, I will try to get some more pictures..

Possibly a partridge

5 Spread out toes...

Partridge again..

Boy what a face, Doesnt look very happy....

Hey, I just wanted to say Thank You so much for the eggs you sent me! I have hatched 13 out of 14 and the one that didnt hatch i dropped and cracked when i went to put it in the incubator lol. I wish i had some decent pictures of my furry little silkie chicks to post. they are wonderful! Thank you for the extra eggs you sent me... i was worried there for a while that one might be cracked when they arrived by they were all expertly wrapped. All my chicks have 5 wonderful toes and the biggest mohawk i have ever seen! And the price was unbeatable for the joy the chicks have already brought me and my family. I will send you some pics as soon as i can!

Thanks Again So Very Very Much. :)

Hello Silkie Breeder!
We are beginning our journey into the world of backyard chicken farming (have ordered our coop, checked our city rules, etc.) and have decided on keeping a small flock of Silkies. We are looking for the highest quality lines (healthiest, sweetest and, of course, fluffiest!) of eggs to hatch out...we live very near rural areas so homing any roosters or extra hens (we will only be allowed to keep 6 total hens) should pose no problem, I would think, through Craigslist or other means. Do your eggs include a few from your splash lines? Your whites? and your Blacks? What are the "Plus Extras" you mention?
Thank you very much!

Plus Extra means, you will get more then 12 eggs, depending on my girls, you could end up with 14,16 or even 18 eggs. If you want eggs from a particular hen, then it's best to PM me, I will separate the hens colors that you are wanting from those girls but I can't guarantee that you will end up with that particular color because the Rooster that I have with my hens is "the Calico Rooster". I did have my Black silkie hatch out three babies and you can see the pictures, the last one ended up being just like her a Black silkie. the other two are partridge and a calico, the calico looks just like dada.. If you are not allowed to have a Rooster, I'm not sure if hatching would be good for you, you could and probably will end up with a Rooster or two or three. LOL.. with silkies you can't really tell the sex until they have matured.

Hello again, Lori!
Danielle Koch again here--just found your thread regarding my first questions for you...We live near and I teach in an extremely rural part of Missouri and I have been told that rehoming a rooster or two will most probably not be an issue (what are your thoughts?). I have been told by a few breeders on line that, if we want to have pet birds that are truly bonded to us, then we most probably will need to start with eggs. What are your thoughts on this? As I wrote you just a bit ago, I would love us to be sent half a dozen eggs instead of 12 or more, even if this means a hatching rate of just three or four. We are only allowed up to six birds and no roosters here in our city, and, as I see it, beginning with a total of six eggs seems a logical number. What do you think? Please let me know whether or not you agree or disagree and also whether or not you think we ought instead to be thinking of finding carefully raised older hens. Thank you very much-
Danielle Koch
