BYC is not responsible for transactions outside the BST area of the forum. All swaps are at the swappers risk and in no way will the Staff be involved in disputes. I don't know if there is a ton of interest in this but I would like to host a box swap. The rules will be as follows:
1. Each member will select a category they would like to send from and one they would like to receive from. Each sender must send at least one item from the category the recipient has chosen, but after that, the rest of the box can contain *anything.* Members MUST SPECIFY if they CAN NOT receive eggs.
2. Each member will create the equivalent of a medium flat rate box of with at least one item pertaining to the category that was chosen by the receiver. The rest of the space in the box must be adequately used up so that the box is considered "filled." In the case of hatching eggs, empty space can be utilized by sending extra items in place of bubble wrap or other padding. To this end, 6 eggs is not considered a "full" box. If sending eggs, please send enough to consider a box "filled" or add extra items to the box within reason. The box does not have to be an actual medium flat rate box, but must be deemed equivalent to the standard size.
3. Each box must have a tracking number to be posted to the person receiving the box.
4. This is not a "mystery" swap, so once the box is sent, the sender can request to be informed of what is in his/her box.
I do have some experience hosting box swaps, but they were all cloth diapers

The second choice for what you can SEND is OPTIONAL. For example, if I match everyone up, and there is one person who does not match up because they want homemade stuff, but all that's left is someone shipping eggs. Then it will be easy to go back and see that the person who was offering eggs can, as a second option, ship homemade stuff instead.
