Any helpful tips are appreciated.
I have an Auracan who, for the year that I've had her (she was already 2yrs when she was brought over) has always had a pasty butt. I wash her off regularly, have used de-wormer for the flock, provide them all with fresh bedding in the coop and they have access to many acres of fresh pasture, etc. I sprinkle food-grade diatomaceous earth where they take dust baths and on the coop litter.
Her poop continues to just dribble out, and it looks like cottage cheese (yummy!). Does this sound like a kidney disorder? Not too surprisingly, her affect is a little low, but she does get out, eat, drink plenty, sun herself, preen herself, etc. She just has a nasty nasty cottage cheese problem. The area by her vent is also unhealthy looking, with black unhappy looking flesh.
