So I have 2 araucana chicks at 7 to 8 weeks. I'm nervous they are roos as all the kids have a chicken and these were replacements for other that turned into Roos and had to go to a new home. Any ideas.[IMG]

One is slightly bigger and has a larger comb.

You may have a pair there.

At least one of them is a pullet.[IMG]

I really hope at least one is a pullet the slightly smaller grey one I think. If they are both roosters I will be devastated :(

I think it's a bit early to tell, especially hard with Araucanas, but I think one is definitely a pullet and one looks a little roo-ish. Just barely.

BT Ara's are notoriously hard to sex. Just wait a couple more months on both before you go reselling them.

Just an update, one was a rooster and one a pullet. [IMG]
