Australorp Male or Female?

    I have one Australorp with a bunch of different breed chicks and would like to know if this is female or not. I'm hoping it is...

    I see comb & wattle developing already but think it's too young yet to call it a cockerel, how old?

    Africa - near the equator
    With the comb and the beginnings of wattle development, I'd say cockerel. If you post at around 6 weeks old, you are likely to get a concrete verdict.
