australorp (or jersey giant?) rooster?

The bottoms of the feet are the best way to tell, yellow = BJG, Pink= australorp

Cockerel. And I would say Jersey Giant, I’ve had both black australorp and black Jersey Giant hen and he looks just like my Jersey Giant hen(but with a fancy tail!)

Definitely a cockerel, and as others stated, breed can be determined by foot bottom color.

Thank you kindly folks! We inherited some hens and this is now our second generation of chickens. Not sure what we will do - I've contacted the farm to ask us either to be reimbursed or preferably for another hen! We are not allowed to have roosters in our area so he will hopefully find a good home somewhere.
