    That’s a cockerel for sure.

Too early to officially tell... but I agree with @Brahma Chicken5000 based on the size of the comb and waddles compared to the siblings, along with the girth of the legs and the alert stance. I can't say with certainty it's a cockerel... but I'd give it like a ~95% chance. ;)

Ooh that's an awful lot of red for that young age. I would say definitely leaning toward cockerel at this point

absolutely no doubts, that's a cockerel. There's no way a pullet could have that much color, that much comb and wattles at such a young age.

Thanks a ton y’all. Just wanted an extra set of eyes. I’ve tried looking at his saddle feathers and the old ‘turn em on their back’ but like I said, wanted another opinion. Thanks!

A ridiculous and I've heard potentially dangerous wives tale where you flip a bird on its back and if it calms down it's a pullet and if it tries to flip back over it's a cockerel. It's similar to the hold em by the neck and hold em upside down by the feet nonsense

Problem with that is, I've seen people cradle their chickens, which is what this sounds like. A chicken can get used to it and not struggle.
