This might be too early to know for certain, but is this little one more Black Star or Austraulorp looking? Either way, Daddy was a BLRW, so mutt, mutt, mutt - but the rest of our bunch came out identical to their mommas. I've got three of these cuties, but don't know for sure who the mom was!

I dunno it looks more like a star than aussie. My aussie babies had very distinctive looks and it was more black and less white that that guy. But the leggs are black so I really cannot say for sure.

My guess if the black star.

I thought black star chicks were more of an all-over black. Looks more australorp to me.

I would think Australorpe, my black sexlinks didn't have hardly any yellow on them.

Since you know it's a half BLRW, I'd have to say it is too early to determine mom, especially since if mom can be a sexlink, she can throw chicks darn near any color as baby is F2 on her side.
