Austrolorp x light Sussex sexlink?

I don't know much about sexlinked chicks at all except when you cross two specific different types of colours of chickens together you get sexlinked chicks so you can tell them apart from their colour straight away. (is that right?)

Anyways I have some chicks hatching from my own chickens and the rooster is a black austrolorp and the hen is a light Sussex. Will this make sexlinked chicks or am I just not getting it? Haha
