I would like to run my auto coop door with a 12v drill motor powered by a 12v car battery. Would a 1.5 watt solar float charger be enough to keep the battery charged with one open and one close cycle per day? Or do I need a higher-wattage solar charger?

Quote:best way to know is to go online and search FAQ on some electric web pages or do it yourself sites, or try it a side before you hook up every thing to the coop.
