Placing eggs in a auto egg turner. How do you place them?

Hello! I've always let my hens take of this stuff. But none of them was ready to set yet.

    Welcome to BYC,
Here is a link to hatching eggs 101. very informative.

    https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/hatching-eggs-101

I use the incubator to star the eggs untill a hen is ready to sit on her eggs. Then I swap the chicks once they hatch so the hen raises them.
