I don't understand how it all works, but what would we get if we crossed Ayam Cemani with Lavender Orpington?

The feathers would be all black because Lavender is recessive and won't show up over the black even though all the progeny will carry 1 lavender gene.

  3. I've crossed some Lavender Orpingtons with a black Laced bird (mostly Wyandotte) and the first generation was black. Inbreeding the next generation some are Lavender and some are Lavender Laced (not as pretty as it sounds). I don't think the black feathers of Ayam Cemani Would react any way other than any other black feathered bird. I've seen pictures of white feathered birds that had fibromelanism.
