Finally joined! My specialties are heritage turkeys, standard egg laying hens, broilers and ducks all pastured and sustainable.
I raise Narragansett Turkeys exclusively. I find them the charm that they were in the 20's and 30's for their personality, meat and growth rates. We also raise Black Australorp hens for our egg business and Pekin ducks for our meat ducks. I have had a great new experience with Red Ranger broilers over the Cornish X and will continue with them.
Taught Ag at the high school level for years and am now really interested in helping all with their questions. I hatch about a thousand eggs a year. If something horrible can happen, it has probably happened to me. Just ask and I will help however I can in the most sustainable, natural way I can.
