BA possible cockeral?

13 week old Black Australorp. This is looking like it's a roo, am I right because he'll need to be rehomed.

That's definitely a boy- look at those tailfeathers! All curvy and roostery- but that comb's sure throwing me for a loop.

I have another BA that has a much different tail. I'll see if I can get a picture of it for comparison. I thought I saw pointed hackle feathers on this one. Comb and wattles super slow to develop. I have a mystery mutt that is all boy and is a month younger.

I think Cockerel too. The tail feathers look pointy, not round like a pullet's.

I'd say pullet. All of my BA boys are very "boy looking" by a month old.

I'd say pullet. The tail feathers are a *little* curved but the lack of comb and waddle development at this age says girl to me.

Ok, so this is the one with the straight tail feathers. All the same chicken, looks girlie to me...rounded feathers on her neck too. Same age about 13 weeks.

hmmmmm, I just sent my two BA's away due to being roos.

Yours looks like a pullet to me. Mine at that age had larger combs and very colorful (greens and purples)
