Babies are coming!

    6 of 7 were fertile! 4 of the 6 are pipped. Hopefully when I come home from work this evening there's babies! I forgot how long it takes for them to get out, that there is a break after the first chip out of the shell.

    Brooder is up and and ready for them. The remaining Spitzhauben hasn't pipped yet, neither has the one from my Astralorp. But the bantam Cochins are peeping away.

    The Part that seems to take forever!!!! My pips and zips happened on the weekend so I ended up doing NOTHING but watching and waiting. At least you get to go to work today. lol
