Our new babies arrived and we are officially chicken people now! We have 14 Buff Orpringtons, 14 New Hampshire Reds, 7 Red Stars, 5 Partridge Cochin Bantys and 1 Golden Polish. We lost one that had a problem from the get go made it 3 days with his head between his legs and ran backwards, but then decided that chicken suicide by drowning was the way to go, revived but did not make it for 24 hours after that. Everybody said that he had a brain problem to begin with and it's best, but I sure do hate to see babies die. But we still have quite a brood. Here are their baby pics.
