babies came today

Hi Guys
About 11 am I got the call my babies were at the post.
I got one extra16 all look good.
I dipped their beaks in the sugar water and they all were drinking and eating
One problem. We left for about an hour and a half when I came back their water was empty!
I put it in a pie pan this time. I have to be sure they have enough because on Fri I have to go to work and we'll be gone 12 hours. Will the pie pan work?
I'm thinking I should I change the three inches of wet bedding.
How do I keep them warm while I change it?

Congrats on your new chicks. What kind did you get. ??
I'd be worried about them drowning in a pie pan. Mine are fine do longer then it takes me to change the bedding. I wouldn't worry about that.
