Babies outside today.

I let my 5-6 week olds out for the day. Sunny and and in the 60's, it was perfect for playing like big chickens.

One EE, two blue/black Ameraucanas, one BCM, one Welsummer, and one BLRW.

mine were out today also..now they are already fats asleep back in their warm garage brooder...big day out.

It must of been a nice day out today in a lot of places. The sun was shining here after being cold and windy most of the past week and we took our ameraucanas and marans outside for the first time today and let them play in the dirt. The found leaves, grass, and weeds and then made a big mud puddle by the waterer and played in that. They just had a blast!!
It also gave dh and I a chance to clean out the garage brooder really well without having to fight to keep them from jumping out the brooder door when I open it lol. Grrr when they were outside I saw 5 huge hawks circling around above the babies .....
