I have a mix of Royal Palm, Bronze and Sweetgrass. 8 all together with 2 males. They are laying eggs like crazy and 1 is sitting. Is it likely the others will kill the babies if they hatch?

Hard to say. Most hens that have been broody may accept them bring around.

Mom's that hatch them are good protecters.

But I had a hen that didn't have babies and I guess she thought no one else needed them either. She would kill any poult she could catch. She took a long cold trip.

To my knowledge none of my toms have hurt or killed a poults. A couple were better mothers than the moms. Lol
