Babies!!

Since I got 2 ducklings in a surprise box a few months ago, I've fallen in love and decided to cut down my chicken flock and get more ducks. Well today they arrived!

I ordered 15, planning on cutting it down to a nice flock of 8-10 by fall. They sent 21!!

There are:
3 female Welsh halequin
2 female Rouen
2 female fawn & white runners
1 female Cayuga
3 female Ancona
And I ordered 4 surplus, they sent 10!

Oh boy...

I bet how far did they come? I had 2 Runners hatch yesterday and they are already eating an drinking.

Missouri, cackle hatchery. Hatched on Monday. I'm in North Dakota

That was a far piece to travel hungry I bet. My Fawn an Whites came from Cackle back in April.

Starving. They attacked the feed after making a mess with the water.

I'm going to get better pictures when I get back home. I work at the post office, but knowing they would be here this morning, I went in and brought them home before work.
