baby black bellied whistling tree duck

    i have a baby black bellied whistling tree duck.i feed the wild ducks and when they were eating it layed an egg and i put it with rouen duck eggs and had 17 out of 20 eggs hatch. 1 was the tree duck baby.i will raise it and let it go.the tree duck is the little one.

    Way cool! Are you a licensed rehabber to be able to take an egg out of the wild? Never too many of you around.
    One of my friends is rehabbing a wood duck, but she never handles it so that it is fearful of humans and will be able to be released safely. Are tree ducks similar in their needs?

    im not a licensed rehabber i just found the egg and tried to hatch it .i hope i cant get in trouble raising it.im raising it with my baby rouens
