Baby chick always sleeping

Hi, I bought this chick today and it has had its eyes closed the whole time. It tweets a bit and stands up, but sometimes sleeps standing up and doesn't open its eyes. It falls asleep really quickly (in about 20 seconds flat). Can hold up its head but I'm still worried. It has been eating but falls asleep whilst standing in the food dish and I haven seen it drink water yet. I have held it in my hands and moved it around a lot but still has its eyes closed. It's supposed to be around 2 weeks old

What are you feeding it? Where did you buy it?

I took it back to the breeder to take care of it. He said it may have overheated in out 39°C heat yesterday.

Huh, 102 is hot, but I wouldn't think it would have bothered the chick, as long as the chick had plenty of water. But moves can stress chicks and that can make some chicks fail to thrive. Hope you get it worked out
