My brooder is a box and it had a staple sticking out and my silkie cut her foot.
It's bleeding, what can I do?

Clean it up and put one of those very small band aids an it and keep it from the others for a bit to keep it from getting pecked.

These things happen and we feel like the worst moms and dads in the world...
Where are you getting your chicks from?
Fitts Mill is right near you.
Last year they had Rhode Island Reds and Orps I think.
Another member Gemini0558 lives in Scituate also.

    Welcome from another Baystater.

    She is better!
I ordered them from My Pet Chicken.
The Fitts Mill is very close to me, I love it. They have everything you need.

Glad to hear it's ok. Good luck with them.

    That's good.
The little dumplings are pretty resilient, and forgiving.

I go to Family Garden and Pet in Pembroke too because it's near where I work at Petco.
