I woke up yesterday morning and found one of my hen's chicks spinning head facing up. At first i thought it was just playing around but i soon realised it wasn't. I took it to it's mother and siblings, and they started kicking it, especially it's mom. Now it's staying IN the house with me. So it's so badly injured that it can't eat on it's own, i have to open it's mouth and feed it. It's my first time raising chickens, so i fed it small pieces of dried sardines and organic powdered corn. It seems that the sardines have filled the crop so much it's now almost the size of a marble ball! How do i treat this. And it's injury too (no obvious bruises, it just screams when i touch the area it got kicked). Hope someone helps me with this!
