I have 2 silver laced wyndottes and one has a comb and the other doesn't,(they are 4 weeks old today) Does this mean that one is a boy, if so which one, I'm hoping its just a birth defect and the are both girls.
Rosecombs take awhile to show up because they're so flat. It could be that the one you can see the comb on is a male, but I would wait until they are a little older just to be sure.
Do you mean one has a single comb possibly? Just wondering. I had three SLWs and one had a single comb, so by comparison, it appeared the other two had no combs, LOL.
Yes the one that has a comb is a single comb, now that I look at the other one there is a V where the comb must be coming in. The one with the single comb has red under its beak, Jouls? the one with out the comb the color of the jouls are orangish. what doest this all mean?
