Baby Chick with messed up leg

I have this baby chick and I don’t know if what I’m doing is helping. One of its legs is bent backward and I’ve tried taping it but it shows no interest in walking. I just found a rubber band trick but I don’t think it will help. What should I do?

I'm sorry about your chick.
Will the chick even eat/drink on it's own?
To me, it looks like a leg deformity. Sadly, if it were mine, I would put the chick down.
