I'm taking care of my sister-in-law's baby chicks. 9 of them. 2 of them look a little funny to me. 1 has what looks like club foot. I was wondering how I would go about fixing/helping it. I assume whenever it decides to roost, it will not be able to. The other one looks completely blind. I help it to it's water, and it pecks at the food spilled on to the floor. What can I do to help them?

I cut the sticky parts of a bandaid off and placed the chicks toes straight on a piece. Placed the other piece on top. Now...how long does it take to correct?[IMG]

It take a week sometimes two to correct. You will notice a difference after just a few days actually. If they are really bad sometimes they don't always get perfectly straight but it gets good enough where they can use it well. Good luck!

Im working with what I have. This is my sister-n-laws house. The bandaid trick should work though? He seems really mad. Pecking at it and limping around.[IMG]
