I have a hen outside with 4 - 6/7 day old chicks and a baby chick in the incubator with eggs that don;t seem to be hatching yet. Baby chick needed help out of its shell but is doing ok now though not eating or drinking yet. We don;t want to lost it and don't know what to do? It is cold out and so not sure if I should put baby with mum and older chicks?

The chick in the incubator can stay there a day or 2, it's still living off it's yolk. If you feel you must move it, I recommend moving it to the brooder.
Do it very quickly because opening the incubator in the last 3 days can really mess up the hatch.

The hen and other chicks might reject it, I wouldn't chance it.

Good luck!
