Baby Chicks are Here

We tried so hard to hatch our own eggs and failed twice so we ordered 25 chicks from McMurray Hatchery. Will post pics of our new brown egg layers.

Don't feel bad, a year and a half ago was my first time and I failed horribly. I think the first round turned hard boiled and the 2nd just rotted.

But now I have it down to a T, with my own eggs. I refused to buy any but could not resist the Blue Andalusian eggs. I will see how this goes one more time - I swore myself against ordering eggs. I rarely ever get them to hatch. I will know in about 5 more days when I candle them.
