I have some baby chicks making a small clicking noise when they breathe but they all act fine they eat, drink, poop, and sleep but I'm still worried. I have heard some people say its normal while others say it isn't and is a sign of respiratory illness. The chicks are about 4 or 5 days old and I got them from a hatchery. Last night I had a chick sit on my chest while I was on my chromebook and she kept clicking when she breathed occasionally stopping. I set her down and listened to the others sleep and noticed them click since it was quiet and I haven't stopped worrying about it. I'm new here but have had chicks before. If someone could tell me why they are doing this that would be great.
