Baby Chicks Fighting?

Hi I have 7 chinks and the 2nd smallest has been trying to attack the biggest Does this mean they are both roosters or is this just normal play? Thanks for any responses.

Probable normal play. They spar to establish flock pecking order from very young ages. Game bird chicks can start actually fighting early, but most other breed types won't injure each other. Just enjoy the show! Overcrowding will cause problems, however, and a red heat lamp helps too, rather than white light. Mary

Inadequate protein can also be an issue but result is not exactly fighting.

Also some other info is the small one is we believe a black ameracauna or black sex link and the big one is a Columbian rock

Well here we are weeks later and both are roos the black one already crows
