During my Christmas break I might have had a little too much time on my hands :). As I was putting this empty egg carton into the recycling, I decided I would re-purpose it to accommodate the latest chicken design floating around in my mind. And that is precisely how chicks in an egg carton were hatched! This is my own design. Just a fun little decoration to display in the kitchen windowsill or anywhere you have the room. Each egg and each chick are a little different due to their handcrafted nature.

Thanks for looking, I welcome your feedback.

The chicks & eggs are made from cotton fabric, stuffed with fiberfill, decorated with bits of felt for the beak & comb. I used a filler product that resembles straw to put around the eggs. Some of the chicks are resting in dried egg shells surrounded by a little fiberfill.
