Baby Chicks

    These are my 2 week old silkie chicks
    Im new to raising chicks. Am i doing this right!? There layout? And at what age is okay to turn off the heating lamp?

    I can't see much from your picture except your cute chicks. Start brooding at 85-90, lower the temperature by about 5 degrees a week by either raising the bulb up or using a smaller wattage. You can stop providing extra heat when either they are fully feathered at around 8 weeks, or the temperature they require is the same as the ambient temperature.
