Then, step away from the hen, she knows what to do. During pipping and hatching, she's dedicated and any disturbance isn't good for her doing her job.
If they don't hatch, there's nothing you can do anyway.

Second that, I let my hens alone with their eggs. I listen for the babies peeping or chirping after the 22nd day, I move the hen and the babies to a separate location in the coop where they will be left alone by the other chickens. If there are any unhatched eggs, I check to make sure they are still alive, if not alive, I toss them out.
