I was wondering if anyone knows about Black Broilers of Ameracauna Pullets? I am trying to raise a couple hens for decent eggs.
    Thanks!

Sorry I have never heard of those either. Maybe if you put "Black Broilers," in the search box - something will come up.

Are you looking at a particular hatchery where they have the black broilers listed? It may be a proprietary name they have chosen to market a particular hybrid under so knowing the source would be helpful.
For Ameraucanas - I will only say that you will want to be careful of your source if you are wanting true Ameraucanas. Most hatcheries selling Ameraucanas (or Americanas) are actually selling Easter Eggers which are mixed breed birds vs. the true pure bred Ameraucana. One exception I know if is Meyer which does offer true Ameraucana and also Easter Eggers. Generally, unless you are working with a reputable breeder and/or paying a premium prices from a reputable hatchery with true stock you are getting Easter Eggers, no matter what label the seller has put on them.

Welcome to BYC! [IMG]I'm glad you joined us.

I haven't had any experience with Black Broilers or purebred Ameraucanas. But, you can read reviews on the Ameraucana breed here: Ameraucana

I haven't had experience with either of those breeds, so I unfortunately can't help.
