Baby duck w/injured leg

Hello, I have 6 week old ducklings. One of them is not walking on its flippers, it is on the bottom of its leg.....flipper and part of leg to knee. I think it got injured the other day when they all moved to one side and it was flipped on its back and under the other ducklings. I would prefer not to put it down. It does get around kinda flopping on its legs.... and is eating and drinking, but is smaller than the rest. Any ideas?

you can try to make a splint out of Popsicle sticks! I used to make them all the time for the local muscovi babies that were hatched out with spraddle legs. If you go up and use the search engine, search for splints and some will come up. You just may be able to fix up the little guy and have him all better!
