baby duck with lots of problems

OMG I have a tiny Call Duck going through similar problems.. he has deformed feet too which is SO sad. I was able to correct his baby brother's feet but his are worse. Our strong little babies!!
Do you have a picture of your duck? What are they symptoms besides the feet? Turbos feet were fine it was just his balance. I hope I can help you.

Poor lil guy. I hope he gets some help. I can only offer hope and support.

She just posted something humorous a few hours over on The Duck Thread about darth bator.

She was referring to an incubator of some sort.
I read that.

Cracking jokes on the duck thread. We miss you Patti I need a good laugh to start the day.

Robbie gave me a compliment yesterday. He said you smell like a duck.

I just come inside after cleaning buckets that Hubbie collects, shoveling out the food station, cleaning food bowls, rinsing out pools and refilling and yes I smelled like a duck. I even felt like a duck with all the water I had to use.

Have a great day all .

Hope everyone is doing well. Nothing much going on here.

I held Que Sera this evening. She is getting her adult feathers now. My baby is growing up. They are real yellow looking I guess they will turn white. She screamed like I was killing her when I picked her up. I guess it hurts when I touched the new feathers growing in. She calmed down after I sit her on my lap. I saved a lot of her feathers that fell out I'm going to put them behind her picture frame with a pic of her and Turbo.

Deb are you getting in your pool everyday? I would if I had one. I guess the ducks wouldn't mind if I got in theirs.

Nugget the Isa Brown laid her first egg today. It was a little brown one. Of course she laid it in the duck house. Her and Bubba have been getting frisky so I knew it was going to be any day now.

They are suppose to tear down the house next door next week,.That's going to be fun. I'll have to move the flock from the back yard to the side yard while they are tearing it down. I just hope they keep the fence up because if they don't we will have to put up about sixty foot of chair link fence along the side. The house is about five foot from the fence if that far so I'm thinking they are going to have to tear the fence down. I can see us now chasing ducks and chickens down the street after they escaped from our yard without a side fence.

Good night all I'm calling it a night. Still have to put laundry away. Oh boy.

Heehee, that's cute Patty. I love it. You're out amongst the little things you love getting right in there with them. Such a joy. Speaking of bird smells, and not their poop or anything but mine have a smell. Their little bodies kinda stink. Not bad but like an animal I guess. I only notice it when I am handling and smothering and soaking them with kisses. But I don't mind cuz I really love them.

I love your humor Patty. Your post made me laugh. I am glad you got to hold the sweet Que Sera. Ugh, the tear down next door. Yikes. I hate the idea of the disruption to hour flock. But it sounds like you and Hubby have safeguards in place. Keep us updated on it.

That is probably their little natural body odor. I've never had a finch before but I've always admired them in the pet stores. Do they ever take a little bath in a water bowl in their cage?
Your finch ducks are probably the most loved finches in the world.
