baby duck with lots of problems

They love peas, of course and that's their bed time treat. Yep, they also love dried meal worms. Something I just recently gave them was floating koi food and they love it just as much as they love their peas. The Pekins enjoy kale more so than the Rouens. They all like fresh green beans and cute up grapes, too.
My gander loves grapes to Cut up. Sammy is the only one though Babe won't touch them. Mine do like chopped kale and romaine but I don't give it out much in summer mostly in winter.

Please don't. As a big male Pekin Burd his feelers may be hurt. He needs to know Que Sera is his. Kids these days are amazing with computers. I am 52 and had to make the adjustment so my excuse is I went from a typewriter to one so I am not all that savvy. But these kids are born with them.

Robbie, please get on it. Uno's fans await.

I"ll never tell Clyde what I suspect. He is the only male duck that we have that patiently waited outside the little house for the eggs to hatch. Well sometimes he wasn't to patient he would climb right in the house I guess he thought he could speed up the process with his big body sitting in there too. He also helped Cher get their baby back when Thelma and Louise kidnapped it.

Robbie takes the pics of the ducks with his phone then downloads it to the computer then somehow puts it on byc. He shows me everytime he says its easy to do. Sure it is he lost me the first 5 seconds of showing me. lol I'll show him this post and maybe we might get a pic of uno in the next couple of days.

Patty dh took out most of his water melon but everyone but my last 4 chicks were already up for the night but here are 2 eating some water melon. Then I let the ducks out this morning and they finished it up. didn't get pics though by the time I got everyone fed they had it done.
Aww cute pics they look like their enjoying their watermelon. What kind of chickens are they? They left the ducks some watermelon? Are you kidding my chickens wouldn't go in the coop without devoring the whole thing. Thanks for sharing the pics with us.

My goofball ducks don't seem to like watermelon. Can you believe it!?
What kind of ducks do you have? I pull some off of the rine and let them taste it then they devour the rest on their own. They must be awful picky. We have one duck Topper who is the taste tester. If she doesn't eat it nobody will. I haven't found anything that Topper doesn't like yet.

Hope Que Sera had a good night out with the flock and mama [you] is feeling better about her being with them.
Opie came in had his dog kibble and visited while we had breakfast. Then we took some kibble out to share with his girls.

Que Sera did fine last night. I was kind of worried about her because it rained and she has never been out in the rain before. Even tho she's a duck I didn't know if she would like it. She's out there now pulling weeds from my bricks on the patio with Yoo Hoo and Hershey.

That's sweet that Opie comes in on his own and even took some kibble out for the girls. Give him a big old smooch from me. I love that mask he has. My ducks have patches and spots but no masks.

I have 2 Pekins and 2 Rouens. They do seem a bit on the picky side. They don't like tomatoes either. Maybe it's the wet consistency that turns them off.

Thanks Julie they were my mystery chicks, lol my ds got the eggs for me from a guy who works at the lumber yard here I put the eggs under my 2 bantams who were broody in hopes of getting a new roo since my roo is going on 6 yrs old. I think I can safely say I have one out of the 4 eggs that hatched. Verdict still out on my younger 2. The one on the left with out the blk head I am pretty sure is a roo.
If that new rooster chick doesn't work out I have 2 black sex linked roosters that I would gladly give you. I keep trying to give them to somebody but nobody around here wants roo's. Only me picks out 2 chicks out the straight run chicks and ends up with 2 roos. They were the only ones left and they looked so pitiful. I get home and look up black sex link and find out if they have a white dot on their heads their boys. They both had the cutest little white dots on their heads.

Wow that is strange and they don't even like tomatoes. Topper would kill for a tomatoe. You need to get you a taste tester duck that is not picky.
