Well I picked up 2 pekin ducks yesterday from the feed store and put them in the brooder with my 3 week old black sex links and its funny as hell. Their about a week or so old and about the same size as my chicks....but both the chickens and ducks seem to like to try and find out just how bad they can annoy each other. I came home last night after yet another late night at work and checked on them and the hens were all asleep and roosting on their perch's, but the ducklings were awake and nipping at the hens butts. Checked on them a little later when I heard some noise and saw the ducklings trying to sleep and the hens picking on them a little bit. I was like sheesh cant we all just get along.
