When do new-born emu chicks start eating? I’m currently feeding my emu, baby kale and spinach. It was born 2 days ago but has only darken a few sips of water. What should I do? I ordered emu chick starter from online but is scheduled to arrive this Tuesday. Is it normal for emu chicks to not want to eat anything when it’s only 2 days old?

I know it can be worrying but in my experience they might take three or four days from hatch before they are really hungry. Keep offering the kale and spinach and then when it's a couple days older it'll probably develop an interest in the starter feed.
