[IMG] Hi All I was given a couple of king male king quails last year and I decided to get them a couple of females . I managed to raise 10 chicks from them and now they are laying eggs too. I have quite a few now and breeding season has only just started. Any suggestions? Besides try selling some.

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. I'm a chicken person and don't know much about quail (never had any), but they sure are cute little birds. Definitely check out our quail link that TwoCrows has left you with, and take advantage of our quail experts there. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your quail.

Welcome to BYC. You could advertise your extras for sale with a flyer put up at the feed store. When you have 20 posts, you can participate in the BYC buy-sell-trade forum. After a time of selling , you probably will build up a waiting list for your quail - so you have buyers coming to you instead of trying to attract them. Good luck with your quail, and prospects of selling them.
